Berlin at dawn

The morning after

When the bass stops

No bass, no fog. Just light and silence – and everything the night leaves behind.

Loneliness

Maximum closeness is often followed by maximum distance. A thousand people in the room, nobody to call. That's not personal failure, it's a well-known curve.

Exhaustion

Lack of sleep is not a side issue. It changes perception, mood and judgement – sometimes for days. Recovery belongs in the plan for the night.

Mental health

If Mondays regularly turn dark, that's a signal. Talking helps: with friends, counselling services, therapists. Seeking help is not leaving the scene.

The morning

Light, street, bakery, bus. The way back is the most honest part of the night. Whoever doesn't skip it arrives better.
